AGIT: One-Stop Shop for Digital Transformation

    Widi Triwibowo,Director, AGITWidi Triwibowo, Director

Holding cloud technology as indispensable for digital transformation, several companies are seeking the assistance of cloud providers. However, most companies struggle to take their digital transformation efforts to fruition as their cloud partners only provide them with the necessary technologies for digital transformation but do not guide them through the process. In this scenario, AGIT (PT Astra Graphia Information Technology) —a subsidiary of Astra International, an Indonesian conglomerate with 212 subsidiaries in various industry verticals—is taking a more nuanced approach to providing clients a complete suite of end-to-end cloud services for ICT infrastructure, applications, and digital transformation.

AGIT’s engagement strategy begins with identifying a client’s pain points and defining their digital priorities, after which a digital plan is developed. AGIT then designs a next-generation IT infrastructure that underpins enterprise business applications and services. The company builds a SaaS-enabled digital platform on top of the ICT infrastructure to support big data analytics, IoT, automation, cloud, and security. Having pre-installed business cases, templates, and best practices, the digital platform helps the client to efficiently manage customer engagement, finance, supply chain, logistics and distribution systems, and workforce productivity. Besides helping the client to manage the core business operations, the platform also assists them to analyze their business and identify affordable and efficient cloud models for their future ventures and expansions. “Moreover, AGIT promotes hybrid cloud models to make sure that the process of digital transformation is secure and free from cloud vendor lock-in,” says Widi Triwibowo, Director of AGIT.

From ideation to delivery, AGIT is the one-stop shop for comprehensive digital transformation in the cloud and on-premise model. The company develops required solutions for its clients either by partnering with world-class solution providers like SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM or by leveraging the extensive experience of its team. Being state-of-the-art in terms of functionality, these solutions cater to the clients’ needs in the areas of data integration, customer care and billing system management, CRM management, core procurement, vendor and catalogue management, business operations, and decision making. By integrating the digital and security operation centers, AGIT ensures that all the cloud-based services, digital platforms, and digital infrastructures are optimized to perfection, leading to cost efficiency.

Recently, AGIT helped one of its clients, a group of financial services company having a huge customer database, to integrate and monitor the data in their database efficiently. The client faced problems in preventing the applications of blacklisted customers from getting approved. AGIT deployed its data integration solution to integrate every data asset that was present in the client’s database, standardize it, and move the outcome to cloud. The solution also provided a highly secure webpage for credit analysts to identify blacklisted applicants. Using specific algorithms, AGIT allowed analysts to inquire about and prevent blacklisted candidates not only in their own company but also in other companies which are registered with AGIT. Using the solution, the client identified fraudulent customers and saved more than $1 million total loss exposure per month.

Backed by more than 1000 expert IT consultants specialized in managing infrastructure and application services portfolio and 24x7 customer support, AGIT acts as the force multiplier for its clients, helping them to capitalize on the new market opportunities. As a comprehensive cloud service provider and a complete digital partner, AGIT is now developing ‘Cloud Commerce’ which will provide clients a single system for auto-provisioning, rating, billing, and payments. The company is also looking forward to creating core business applications to improve customer service, optimize business processes, and motivate clients to use cloud technologies while venturing into new business with confidence.
