TOLVA: Solution integrators binding all IT pieces together

The modern-day IT solutions space is filled with vendors that provide different targeted offerings to cater to specific needs of businesses. Few, however, offer clients a framework bringing together all these solutions, streamlined systematically for companies to leverage. Sydney-based TOLVA is a new breed of solution provider poised to address this critical market challenge. TOLVA is a specialized IT integrator that delivers unified information technology solutions which improve business quality and productivity. "Our journey started four years ago, and in this short time we have established ourselves as a new class of cloud solution provider, acting like the glue that binds all IT pieces together," says J MJ Mertin, Managing Director of TOLVA.

Over the years, servicing a wide range of companies has allowed TOLVA to develop best-of-breed solutions for businesses—integrating technologies that work for different companies in various industries. TOLVA’s managed cloud services include a combination of on-premise infrastructure and cloud-based services, to meet the specific needs of a modern workplace.

Mertin believes that companies in a rush to incorporate the “latest and greatest the cloud has to offer” do so at the unforeseen risk to their system’s stability. TOLVA resolves this issue by providing clients with a coherent plan to upgrade as per their 'need' and not by the 'want.' Essentially, the TOLVA team strives to help clients manage the various on-premises and cloud services that contemporary infrastructures are comprised of,

while at the same time working with them to on-board to cloud technologies and services when these options become suitable.

The client has the choice of selecting the appropriate managed services to suit their environment from the recommendations provided by TOLVA. The main aim of their integration services is to regulate the entire landscape; achieving compliance, flexibility and stability for their clients while eliminating the need to contact multiple vendors individually. Also, from a security perspective, the firm's services ensure a superior backup and recovery strategy. Besides configuring a new IT infrastructure, the firm provides ongoing management and support, to ensure businesses get as much from their solution as possible for many years to come.

Another primary factor favouring TOLVA over their competitors is the lower total cost of ownership they achieve. “By allowing us to act as the integrators of our client’s various providers and vendors, we always reduce the overall costs associated with their environments – by saving time, reducing complexity and increasing their own efficiency”, says Mertin.

TOLVA's team has developed effective and extensive processes, certified according to the ITIL 2011 service management framework, to ensure consistent and dependable service delivery to their customers. Currently, the firm is working to increase the depth of their team skill set by way of strategic staff acquisitions to their core IT operations. "We are looking to grow the team with some exceptional new people, so that we can continue to expand our customer base in the mid-market," concludes Mertin.
